Anaesthesia Assessments
Anaesthetic Competencies
ACCS trainees in anaesthesia must complete the Anaesthesia Competencies as detailed in the curriculum regardless of parent speciality. The initial assessment will be the Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC) at around three months. Following this trainees should ensure completion of a wider selection of anaesthetic competencies by following the syllabus defined by Sections 4 to 6, 9, 14 and 16 to 21 of The CCT in Anaesthesia (part II: Basic Level Training and Assessment) Curriculum document (see curriculum section of this website).
